Passage Du Grand Cerf ........

I love this network of passages through-out the city of Paris
 which link street to street .... undercover and lit with the loveliest of lanterns
 

Just a stone-throw away from my vacation studio in the 2e arrondissement
these wonderful walkways gave me the benefit of being able to go out shopping of an evening
in a secure and sheltered environment

The architecture in these passages is truly amazing.

Ladurée on Rue Royale .....

Taking a peek through the windows of the famed French patisserie
 Ladurée on Rue Royale
The reflections give a glimpse of the wonderful old architecture
that surround this affluent area.

In case you're wondering ...  I did pop in for a glass
of pamplemousse rosé accompanied by one of their
delectable macarons ... well worth the visit!

Oh! how I love Market Day's in rural France
where the locals come to forage out the very best
in local produce before settling into one of those
typical French rattan chairs for a coffee and a chat

Straight ahead is Pont Neuf
 the oldest bridge in Paris.

When I'm in Paris I like to travel the river
on the  hop on hop off Batobus boat shuttle
much smaller and nicer than the big touristy Bateaux-Mouches
